Bhartiya College of Education, Udhampur celebrated “National Integration Day” with enthusiasm and grandeur, reflecting the vibrant cultural diversity of India. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing enlightenment and unity. This was followed by a warm welcome address delivered by the Principal of the College, who emphasized the significance of National Integration Day in fostering unity and respect for diversity among students.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Sanjay Verma Principal Government Degree College Boys, Udhampur was warmly welcomed and escorted to the heritage rooms, where students display highlighting India’s rich traditions and customs were meticulously showcased. The heritage rooms stood as a testament to the country's unity in diversity, leaving the visitors captivated.
A spectacular cultural showcase followed, where students presented the diverse traditions of India, bringing to life the vibrant cultures of Kashmir, Dogri, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and South India. Each performance mesmerized the dignitaries and highlighting the distinctive music, attire, flavours and traditions of these regions.
The celebration further unfolded with a series of cultural performances, each portraying the unique essence of India’s diverse heritage. Students participated in each activity with zeal and enthusiasm.
After that, Chief Guest addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech. Congratulating all the participants, and said, “Each performance and display was unique and reflected the true spirit of India’s diverse heritage. It was indeed a challenging task to select winners, as every participant showcased exceptional talent and dedication.”
During the prize distribution ceremony, the Punjabi cultural group clinched the third prize with their lively and colourful performance, while the South Indian group earned the second prize with their captivating presentation. The Dogri group also stood out, got first prize for their energetic and authentic display, Kashmiri and Himachali cultural groups also received consolation prizes, recognizing their commendable efforts and unique contributions.
The program also included a prize distribution ceremony, for the students who participated in the Rangoli competition held earlier in the college. where winners of the Rangoli competition were felicitated. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, and with the singing of the National Anthem, instilling a sense of patriotism.

A farewell party was organised at Bhartiya College of Education for B A B.Ed.Integrated 8th semester students in the college auditorium. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers, to reminisce joyous moments . Being a colorful affair, the farewell bash rocked the day for all the party attendees. The eye catching moments were the dance performances of the students.
Principal Dr Anita Bali blessed and assured the students that they will always get support of college even after they have left.
Managing Director of the college Sh Ashok khajuria who has always generously imparted his wisdom to the pupils and guided them towards the right path, He expressed his desire to see all the students at the great height of success.
The highlight of the event was Miss Bhartiya and Mr Bhartiya contest in which the outgoing students walked the ramp gracefully and participated in games.

We are #GenerationRestoration.” In order to contribute in this campaign Bhartiya College of Education organised plantation drive in the college campus.
Bhartiya College IGNOU Learner Support Centre- 12119 Udhampur in collaboration with Regional Centre IGNOU organised an induction program for its fresher students. This initiative was aimed to equip students with valuable information about Indira Gandhi National Open University including its miscellaneous courses, offering admission procedures and the array of student support services available. The program commenced with formal welcome address presented by Asstt. Prof. Savita Sambyal, Co-ordinator, Bhartiya College Learner Support Centre Udhampur.
Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Assistant Regional Director IGNOU, Jammu addressed the new enrolled students and offered insightful details about the University’s flexible educational approach. He further elaborated the about functioning of IGNOU Study Centre and also addressed the students regarding the significance of the collaboration between IGNOU and Bhartiya College Learner Support Centre. Dr. Asha Upadhyay, Assistant Regional Director IGNOU, Jammu also engaged the audience with the captivating virtual tour of IGNOU’s website. She also provided practical explanations on the admission process, assignments’ submission procedures and accessing of study materials. Besides them, Mr Rajesh Mohan, Assistant Registrar, IGNOU, Jammu, principal Dr. Anita Bali, BCE, academic councillors and students were also present during the program. The event was managed by Asstt. Prof. Jyoti Sharma, faculty of the college and concluded with the vote of thanks by Asstt. Prof. Pinaki Bakshi.

26-04-2024: Bhartiya College of Education Udhampur in collaboration with Council for Teacher Education Foundation (CTEF) organized One-Day workshop on ‘Psychological Testing’ in its college premises. The resource persons for the workshop were: - Dr. Jaspal Singh, Coordinator B.Ed Program Directorate of distance and online education, University of Jammu and Dr. Rakesh Sharma, principal Kalra College of Education, Kud. The event commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the chairperson of the college Mrs Madhu Khajuria, eminent resource persons, principal of the college Dr. Anita Bali and Mr Shiv Kumar, member of managing committee. The formal welcome address was presented by the principal of the college. The workshop was divided into two sessions i.e. Phase-I and Phase-II. The resource persons deliberated the students concerning the psychological testing and its basis for mental health treatment. They further explained the tests that are performed by a psychologist to evaluate the results to determine the cause, severity, and duration of symptoms. The resource persons had a healthy interaction among the students through demonstration and practical implementation. The students of the college also shared their experience regarding the workshop. Around 250 students from M.Ed,B.Ed and 4-year BA B.Ed integrated course participated in the workshop.The event concluded with the vote of thanks by Asst Prof Jyoti Bala. The proceedings of the event were managed by Asst Prof Pinaki Bakshi.
