The event was particularly significant as it coincided with India’s Republic Day, doubling the spirit of celebration and patriotism on campus. The ceremony began with the traditional hoisting of the National Flag, followed by a warm welcome address by the program coordinator. The cultural segment of the day was the highlight, showcasing the immense talent and hard work of the volunteers. It kicked off with a harmonious group song that celebrated the theme of "Unity in Diversity," setting a soulful tone for the afternoon. The Chief guest on the occasion was Mr. Anwar- Ul- Haq KPS,Additional Superintendent 0f Police Udhampur . sixteen students participated from different colleges of district Udhampur in the symposium . Speakers of the symposium expressed their concern over the various issues and highlighted the need of dignity, freedom and justice for all. The judges of the event were Dr. Neharika Sharma, Dr. Kalpnath Saroj and Mrs. Rashmi Sharma. Out of fifteen speakers, three speakers have been adjudged 1st, 2nd & 3rd namely: Mr Baljit Singh,GDC Udhampur (Boys), Miss Anita Devi,GCW Udhampur and Diksha Nirdesh,BCE Udhampur respectively. A Skit in the form of one act play on the theme ‘Lambardara Di Dehsat’ was also performed by the students of Bhartiya college of Education Udhampur. While speaking on the occasion chief guest addressed the students and laid emphasis on the importance of human rights in India. He also greeted the audience and gave the message to the students about the significance of this day and later on , the winner students had been given certificates of Participation. The programme concluded with recitation of national anthem and Mrs. Monika Gupta,faculty of the college presented vote of thanks.
