A major highlight of the day was the highly anticipated Ramp Walk Competition. Dressed in elegant ethnic and formal attire, contestants walked the stage with confidence, charm, and poise. The participants were evaluated across multiple rounds, including self-introductions, talent displays, and an interactive Q&A round. Based on their performance, Mr Nitesh and Ms Vaishali won the title for Mr. & Miss Freshers and Mr Atul and Ms Braniya singh from B.Ed and Mr Aryan and Ms Sugandita from BA B.Ed Integrated course won the title for Mr and Ms farewell. The event concluded with the distribution of titles, mementos, and awards to the winners and seniors, followed by a formal Vote of Thanks and a celebratory lunch

Bhartiya College of Education, Udhampur, successfully organized a Two-Day Induction Programme for the newly admitted B.Ed. students of the academic session (2026-2028) on September 18-09-26 to 19-09-2026 in the college premises. The program aimed at acquainting the students with the college environment, its culture, and the broader vision of teacher education under the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The first day commenced with the Inaugural Session, marked by a warm welcome to the newly admitted teacher trainees. The formal proceedings began with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, and Saraswati Vandana. The students were subsequently blessed by the Managing Director of the college Mr. Ashok Khajuria ji. It was further carried out with the Keynote Address by the Principal of Bhaskar Degree College, Dr. Udhay Bhanu, provided the teacher trainees with valuable insights to the responsibilities associated with the teaching profession. An engaging Ice-Breaking Session was conducted to encourage interaction among the newly admitted students. This was followed by an Academic Overview delivered by In- charge Principal Dr. Savita Sambyal, who acquainted the students with the academic structure of the B.Ed. programme, and various aspects essential for their successful progression through the course. The first day concluded with a Virtual Tour of the Campus conducted by Dr. Jyoti Bala. The second day commenced with a Keynote Address on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 delivered by Asst. Prof. Rashmi Sharma. The session focused on the transformative vision of NEP 2020 and its implications for teacher education. An interactive “Chit-Pair Activity” was subsequently organized, encouraging students to collaborate, communicate, and engage in peer interaction. The programme also featured an Alumni Interaction Session, wherein alumni shared their experiences, reflections regarding their academic journey and professional development. Adding a creative dimension to the programme, students participated in a Creative Writing Activity on the Vision Board. A special feature of the concluding session was the recognition of student participation through the presentation of Induction Programme Titles. Students were acknowledged under various categories, including: Team Player (Miss Shobha), Best Communicator (Miss Banisha), Emerging Teacher (Mr Bhargav), Most Enthusiastic Participant (Miss Vaishali Thappa & Mr Saksham Jabotra), and Creative Thinker (Mr Nitish). The entire event was anchored by Asst. Prof. Rimpy Sharma and the Programme was concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks presented by Asst. Prof. Khusboo Sharma. The programme was conducted under the esteemed presence of the chairperson of the college, Mrs. Madhu Khajuria ji.

Bhartiya College of Education, Udhampur, today organized an insightful guest lecture on the theme "NAAC Reaccreditation" to strengthen institutional quality standards and prepare for upcoming accreditation cycles. The keynote lecture was delivered by distinguished academician Dr. Narendra Kumar Sharma, Registrar of JMA University, Kota, Rajasthan, who served as the chief resource person for the event. The session brought together faculty members, administrative staff, and management representatives to discuss critical frameworks for quality enhancement in higher education. Dr. Sharma emphasized the pivotal role of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in driving continuous improvement, institutional accountability, and academic excellence. 3/09/2026.

The NSS students of Bhartiya College of Education successfully completed a four-day camp organized by the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Chandigarh, under the Capacity Building Programme on Youth Employability Skills. The camp was held from 17 August 2026 to 20 August 2026. During the programme, students participated in various activities focused on self-awareness, teamwork, leadership, communication, creativity, and problem-solving. The programme also included sessions on cybersecurity, social awareness, and character building. Students actively participated in cultural and team-building activities, which enhanced their confidence and interpersonal skills. Overall, the camp was a highly enriching and successful learning experience for all the NSS students.

7-Day Summer Camp on “Drug and Tuberculosis-Free Youth”

A 7-Day Summer Camp was organized by the NSS Unit of Bhartiya College of Education, Udhampur on the theme “Drug and Tuberculosis-Free Youth.”

The camp focused on creating awareness among youth about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the prevention of tuberculosis.

Various awareness activities, educational sessions, community outreach programmes, and interactive activities were conducted throughout the seven days.

NSS volunteers actively participated in spreading the message of a healthy, responsible, and disease-free society.

The programme encouraged youth to adopt healthy lifestyles and contribute towards building a Drug-Free and Tuberculosis-Free community.

The camp concluded with a renewed commitment by the participants to promote health awareness and social responsibility.

Three faculty members of Bhartiya College of Education—Ms. Satuti Sharma, Ms. Khushboo, and Ms. Monika—participated in the online workshop on “Remote Sensing and GIS for Disaster Management.” The workshop was organized on 12 August 2026 through the Zoom platform from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The workshop provided valuable insights into the use of Remote Sensing and GIS technologies for disaster preparedness, risk assessment, monitoring, and management. The participation enhanced the faculty members’ knowledge and professional understanding of modern geospatial technologies in disaster management.

Bhartiya Group of Colleges viz Bhaskar Degree College, Bhartiya College of Education and Bhartiya Heritage School, Kidzee celebrated 80th Independence Day of India with immense patriotic spirit, enthusiasm, and national pride. The theme of this year is “Yuva Shakti for Viksit Bharat@ 2047”. The programme commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the singing of Vande Bharat and National Anthem. The subsequent parade by the students added a sense of discipline, pride, and solemnity to the occasion. The dignitaries presented in the event were: chief guest Prof(Dr.) S.K. Magotra, chairperson, Mrs Madhu Khajuria, Managing Director, Mr. Ashok Khajuria, principal of the college, Dr. Udhey Bhanu, Mr. Shiv Kumar Sharma, Director and Mr. Pawan Kumar, former Physical Director. The chief guest in the keynote address, highlighted the significance of Independence Day and reflected upon the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who devoted their lives to securing India’s independence. The address also emphasised the important role of the younger generation in nation-building, encouraging students to become responsible, disciplined, compassionate, and socially conscious citizens. The cultural segment of the celebration showcased the remarkable talent and creativity of the participating students. The programme featured a series of colourful and inspiring performances representing India’s rich cultural diversity and patriotic spirit. The Girls’ Dogri Dance Performance by Sudeksha and Group from Kidzee Students added a vibrant regional flavour to the celebration and beautifully showcased the cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir. This was followed by a Patriotic Dance Performance by the boys of Kidzee, presented by Mrityunjay and Group, which conveyed a powerful message of love and devotion towards the motherland. An inspiring address by Prof. Bindu Salaria further enriched the programme, encouraging students to understand the deeper meaning of freedom and to contribute positively to society. This was followed by a captivating dance performance by Krish, which was warmly appreciated by the audience. The literary dimension of the celebration was highlighted through a Poetry Recitation by Iknoor of Bharatiya College of Education, who presented a patriotic composition with confidence and expressive delivery. The celebration continued with a spirited Boys’ Dance Performance by Krish and Group of Bhaskar Degree College, followed by a melodious Patriotic Song Performance by Kritika and Group from Bharatiya College of Education. Their performance created an atmosphere of collective pride and devotion to the nation. This was followed by a graceful Dance Performance by Jagriti and Group from Bharatiya College of Education, showcasing coordination, energy, and artistic expression. The students of Bhaskar Degree College continued the musical celebrations with a Singing Performance by Ankush and Group, adding further vibrancy to the cultural programme. The cultural segment culminated in a spectacular Finale Dance Performance by Akshra and Group of Bhaskar Degree College. The energetic and visually engaging performance brought together the spirit of celebration, patriotism, youthfulness, and cultural unity, receiving enthusiastic applause from the gathering. The programme concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, during which students and participants were felicitated for their outstanding performance and achievements. A special highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of faculty members who successfully completed their Ph.D. degrees. The college management honored the faculty members Dr. Savita Sambyal, Dr. Jyoti Bala and Dr. Pinaki Bakshi in recognition of their academic accomplishment, dedication to research, and sustained commitment to higher education. The Independence Day celebration served not merely as a commemoration of India’s freedom but also as an opportunity to remind the younger generation of their responsibilities towards the nation. The event concluded on a note of pride, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the ideals enshrined in the Constitution of India. The proceedings of the event were carried by Prof. Hema Dutt.

Saloni Sharma and Sheetal Devi, NSS volunteers from B.Ed 2nd semester of Bhartiya College of Education, actively participated in a four-day training program conducted by the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD) Regional Centre, Chandigarh. The workshop featured interactive, practical activities such as Earthquake Awareness, Paper Tower construction, Uses of a Pen, Human Chain, and Team Crossing. In an effort to bridge modern educational technology with teacher training, the second-semester (B.Ed.) students from Bhartiya College of Education conducted an experiential educational visit to the Innovative Center and Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) at Bharatiya Vidya Mandir Higher Secondary School Nain Soo Udhampur. The visit aimed to expose future educators to cutting-edge experiential learning methodologies, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) frameworks, and creative problem-solving techniques currently reshaping school education across the nation.Students explored hands-on kits, 3D printers, robotics modules, and electronics workstations designed to spark curiosity in school children.Young innovators at Bharatiya Vidya Mandir demonstrated their prototype models and working science projects developed inside the lab.A briefing session highlighted how prospective teachers can integrate tinkering and design-thinking approaches into standard school curricula.

Proud moment for Bhartiya College of Education.. Mr. Vishab Partap Singh Chambyal alumni of the college began his academic and professional journey at the Bhartiya College of Education session 2020-24 where he completed his B.A.B.Ed.Integrated course and developed a strong foundation in pedagogy and teaching. He later pursued higher education at the Central University of Jammu, where he successfully completed his M.Ed. and developed a strong understanding of Andragogy and research, with his dissertation focusing on the field of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS). Alongside this, he is also pursuing M.A. in Psychology from IGNOU. During his M.Ed. journey, he remained actively engaged in academic and research activities, presenting 17 research papers at national platforms and 6 at international platforms. He has published 7 research papers in reputed journals and contributed to edited books, while 4 additional research papers have been accepted for publication, including one in a Scopus-indexed journal. He has also gained valuable experience through various research internships and has developed two Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs). Continuing his academic journey, he has now been selected for the Master of Arts in Artificial Intelligence in Education (MAAIE) programme associated with NIEPA (NCERT) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. His selection involved a rigorous process comprising a written examination and an expert interactive-cum-interview session, through which he secured the 3rd rank. His academic journey reflects his strong commitment to teaching, research, innovation, and the integration of emerging technologies with education.

The event aimed to sensitize students, future educators, and faculty members about the rising prevalence of lifestyle-related disorders and the importance of proactive health management. The distinguished resource person for the session was Dr. Tahir Mohi-ud-Din from the Government Medical College (GMC), Udhampur. The program commenced with a formal welcome address by the Asst.Prof. Rashmi Sharma who highlighted the institution's commitment to holistic development, emphasizing that physical and mental well-being are foundational to academic and professional success. During his highly interactive and informative address, Dr. Tahir Mohi-ud-Din shed light on various "life diseases"—including cardiovascular ailments, diabetes, hypertension, and obesity—which have increasingly become public health concerns. Utilizing real-world case studies and clinical insights, he explained how modern sedentary habits, poor dietary choices, chronic stress, and lack of sleep act as primary triggers for these chronic conditions. "Prevention is not just better than cure; in the case of lifestyle diseases, it is often the only sustainable solution. By making conscious, daily choices regarding our diet, physical activity, and mental wellness, we can dramatically alter our health trajectory." Dr. Tahir also shared practical, easy-to-implement wellness strategies, urging the audience to adopt balanced diets, regular exercise regimens, and mindfulness practices. He specifically emphasized the role of future teachers (B.Ed. students) in spreading this awareness, noting that healthy educators play a pivotal role in shaping healthy future generations. The lecture was followed by an engaging Q&A session, where students and faculty members eagerly cleared their doubts regarding dietary habits, stress management, and early warning signs of lifestyle disorders. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by the co ordinator of the college Asst prof Savita Sambyal expressing deep gratitude to Dr. Tahir Mohi-ud-Din for sparing his valuable time and sharing invaluable medical expertise. As a token of appreciation, a memento was presented to the esteemed guest on behalf of the college.

On the occasion of ' Plastic Bag Free Day, " the B.Ed. trainees of the Bhartiya college of Education organized an awareness campaign in the adjoining village Kallar. The trainees interacted with local residents, highlighted the harmful effects of single-use plastic bags, and encouraged everyone to adopt eco-friendly alternatives such as cloth and jute bags. The event focused heavily on raising awareness about critical ecological challenges and amplifying the global call to step in #Now For Climate. The dual competitions saw overwhelming participation from NSS volunteers and other students of the college. Participants in the Poster Making Competition brought environmental issues to life using vivid colors and powerful imagery, illustrating themes such as plastic pollution, renewable energy, and the preservation of urban green spaces. Simultaneously, the Slogan Writing Competition challenged minds to distill complex environmental issues into hard-hitting, memorable phrases aimed at inspiring lifestyle changes. In an effort to bridge the gap between theoretical teacher education and real-world administrative frameworks, Bhartiya College of Education successfully organized a virtual study visit to the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) for its (B.Ed.) trainees. The initiative aimed to familiarize future educators with the core organizational structure, curriculum development processes, and pedagogical innovations led by the state’s apex body for school education. Given the evolving digital landscape in academic training, the virtual format allowed student-teachers to interact directly with state-level educational experts right from their campus. The session kicked off with an immersive overview of SCERT’s foundational role in text-book formulation, teacher training modules, and educational research. Trainees were given a virtual tour of the various departments, followed by an in-depth presentation on how national educational policies are translated into ground-level classroom strategies.The event concluded with a reflection session where trainees shared how the experience broadened their understanding of the macro-level planning that goes into daily classroom teaching.

In a major push to strengthen the ongoing war against drug abuse, the District Administration Udhampur, in collaborative partnership with Bhartiya College of Education, Udhampur, today organized a grand literary event "Mushaira" under the national theme "Nasha Mukt Bharat". NSS volunteer from Bhartiya College of Education Ms.Jagriti katoch B.Ed semester 1st participated in the Budget Quest 2026 Virtual Interaction Program held on 12th and 13th April 2026 at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre, Srinagar. On the first day, all participants were warmly welcomed at the venue and were provided with a kit that included a folder, pen, T-shirt, and cap, which created excitement among the participants. A Mock Women Youth Parliament session was organized, focusing on Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam Yojana. Students actively participated and shared their ideas .A special interaction session was held, which was joined by the MLA of Kishtwar, Shri Shagun Parihar , Her presence motivated volunteers and gave them insights into leadership and governance. Second day was dedicated to learning and interaction with experts. Volunteers had a detailed discussion with professors from the University of Kashmir. They explained various aspects of the Union Budget. The interaction session was joined by the MLA of Nagrota, Ms.Devyani Rana. She shared valuable insights and encouraged volunteers to contribute towards a developed India. Later, volunteers had an interaction with the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports. During this session, discussions were held regarding Budget Quest 2026 and its various activities. The Minister explained the importance of such budget-related discussions and quizzes. Overall, the Budget Quest 2026 Virtual Interaction Program was highly informative, engaging, and inspiring. This year's International Women's Day theme, “Give to Gain”, underscores the principle that meaningful progress on gender equality requires deliberate contributions from governments, institutions and individuals. The event aimed to highlight the significance of women’s empowerment and to encourage meaningful discussions on the role of women in contemporary society. The chief guest for the occasion was Ms. Sunati Sharma, Sub-Judge and Secretary, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Udhampur. Advocate Sanjeet Bavoria also graced the event as the resource person and shared valuable insights on issues related to women’s rights, legal awareness, and social empowerment. Bhartiya College of Education, Udhampur organised an impressive and well-structured Induction cum Orientation Program for the newly admitted B.Ed students for the academic session (2025-2027) on 01-12-2025 in the college premises. The programme aimed to familiarise students with the college environment, its culture, academic structure, and the overall vision of the institution. The Induction cum Orientation Program ceremony commenced with a graceful Welcome Address, extending heartfelt greetings to all dignitaries, faculty members, and students. The atmosphere was filled with positivity as the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony was performed, symbolising the dispelling of ignorance and the ushering in of knowledge and enlightenment. The session began with a formal welcome address by Asstt. Prof Rashmi Sharma. Afterwards the coordinator of the college, Astt Prof. Savita Sambyal addressed the students and discussed in detail the curriculum structure, duration, and pedagogical components of the B.Ed course. Her interaction helped students gain clarity about this 2year B.Ed. program highlighted the academic vision of the institution and emphasised the importance of professional commitment, reflective teaching practices, and value-based education. Bhartiya College of Education, Udhampur celebrated 11th International Yoga Day with a rejuvenating session on June 21, 2025 in its premises. The event aimed to promote the ancient Indian practice of yoga for the holistic well-being of mind, body, and soul among students and staff of the college. The resource person Mr. Pawan Kumar (yoga practitioner) enlightened the participants about scientific relevance and importance of Yoga in our life and explained how practicing Yoga perpetually benefits to reduce stress at work and improves body and mind. He interacted with students by briefing different Asanas and Pranayama for ensuring proper functioning of the immune system, digestive system and for overall health benefits. Students also actively participated in performing various yoga Asanas to awaken inner peace and strength. Following this, another esteemed resource person Dr. Akriti Singh took over the session with a calming and powerful meditation practice. Her session focused on inner awareness, mental clarity, and stress relief, helping everyone connect with their inner self and experience peace in the moment. Her guidance created a deeply tranquil atmosphere. Co-ordinator of Bhartiya College Mrs. Savita Sambyal, expressed her appreciation for the efforts of the resource persons and participants. She emphasized the relevance of incorporating yoga into daily life for a healthier lifestyle and holistic development. She also encouraged the staff members and the students of the college to continue practicing yoga regularly and make it a part of their routine. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks which was presented by Ms. Jyoti Bala, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed resource persons, faculty members, and participants for embracing the yogic way of living. A farewell party was organised at Bhartiya College of Education for B.Ed and B A B.Ed.Integrated 8th semester students in the college auditorium. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers, to reminisce joyous moments . Being a colorful affair, the farewell bash rocked the day for all the party attendees. The eye catching moments were the dance performances of the students. Principal Dr Anita Bali blessed and assured the students that they will always get support of college even after they have left. The highlight of the event was Miss Bhartiya and Mr Bhartiya contest in which the outgoing students walked the ramp gracefully and participated in games. Ms Meenakshi was adjudged as Ms Bhartiya from B.Ed and Ms Kusum from BAB.Ed Mr Sandeep as the Mr.Bhartiya, and Ms Chahat from B.Ed and Ms.Sakshita from BA B.Ed and Mr.Suresh as Ms and Mr. evening. The program was ended with cake cutting ceremony and we gave final good bye to the students with heavy heart.

IQAC of Bhartiya College of Education, Udhampur, successfully organized a two-day workshop on the theme “Level Up Your Skill in Technology” aimed at enhancing technological proficiency among faculty of the college. The workshop was held in the conference hall of the college on 19th and 20th May 2025 brought together experts, and educators to explore emerging tools and trends in the technological world. The workshop covered a wide range of topics including digital literacy, introduction to excel, creating and saving workbooks, formatting and editing, and how to create google forms. The inaugural session was chaired by the principal of the college and attended by all the faculty members of the college. Dr. Anita Bali, Principal of the college inaugurated the event and highlighted the importance of staying updated with technological advancements, especially in the field of education. The sessions were conducted by Asst. Prof. Silky Gupta and Asst. Prof. Rakesh Thakur, who brought their expertise and enthusiasm to the program. Their interactive teaching methods helped a lot to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment for all of us. On Day 1, Assistant Professor Silky Gupta delivered an insightful session covering the importance of digital literacy, the role of technology in modern education, and creating question papers, registration form by using Google Forms. She guided all the faculty members step-by-step through the process of designing, customizing, and sharing Google Forms for academic assessments and admission processes. Her session empowered the attendees to adopt digital tools for conducting tests, surveys, and quizzes in an efficient manner. On Day 2, Assistant Professor Rakesh Thakur introduced participants to Microsoft Excel, starting from the basics. His session covered: Basic data entry, selecting cells, rows, and columns, Excel shortcuts and productivity tips, Copying and pasting techniques, Common Excel functions (e.g., SUM, AVERAGE), Inserting notes into cells, Formatting cells and data, and Using “Wrap Text” for better cell display. His practical demonstrations and simple explanations helped participants gain confidence in using Excel for academic and administrative purposes. The event concluded with a valedictory session, during which certificates of appreciation were presented to the resource persons, Assistant Professor Silky Gupta and Assistant Professor Rakesh Thakur, in recognition of their valuable contributions. Moreover, all faculty members who participated in the workshop were also awarded with e-certificates in recognition of their active engagement and commitment to digital skill enhancement. A formal vote of thanks was delivered by Asst. Prof. Monika Gupta, who applauded the efforts of the organizing team, the resource persons, and all attendees for making the workshop a success.

BHARTIYA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION CELEBRATED INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2025. On 08 March 2025, Bhartiya College of Education, Udhampur, organized an intersection seminar on the eve of International Women's Day on the theme “Accelerate Action to collectively forge a more inclusive world for women” to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women in various spheres of life with great vehemence and zeal. This year’s theme calls for action that can unlock equal rights, power and opportunities for all and a feminist future where no one left behind. The event, held at the college premises, aimed to this vision- empowering the next generation-youth, particularly young women and adolescent girls. The seminar was graced by the esteemed presence of Mrs. Madhu Khajuria; Chairperson of the college, other dignitaries, faculty members, and students of the college. The programme commenced with formal welcome address which was presented by co-ordinator of the college: Asstt. Prof. Savita Sambyal. She highlighted the significance of International Women’s Day in fostering awareness about women's rights and encouraged students to contribute towards a more inclusive and equitable society. During the event, total twelve contestants participated from different sections and put forth their notions. The first prize was grabbed by Ms Kusumlata, the second prize was secured by Ms Sunaina, and the third prize was grabbed by Ms Supriya. Congratulating all the participants, and said, “Each performance and display was unique and reflected the true spirit of India’s diverse heritage. It was indeed a challenging task to select winners, as every participant showcased exceptional talent and dedication.” During the prize distribution ceremony, the Punjabi cultural group clinched the third prize with their lively and colourful performance, while the South Indian group earned the second prize with their captivating presentation. The Dogri group also stood out, got first prize for their energetic and authentic display, Kashmiri and Himachali cultural groups also received consolation prizes, recognizing their commendable efforts and unique contributions. The program also included a prize distribution ceremony, for the students who participated in the Rangoli competition held earlier in the college. where winners of the Rangoli competition were felicitated. To welcome the new students of B.Ed semester 1st session 2024-26 the co-curricular committee of the College organized a big bash fresher's party in its premises. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Mrs.Madhu khajuria the Chairperson of the College. The event started with welcoming the guests and new students. Principal of the college Dr.Anita Bali wel come new students and appreciated the efforts of the senior students in organizing the program. The event saw many dazzling performances by both seniors and juniors alike. The event commenced with Burst the Balloons game, followed by captivating solo songs and dance performances. There were mesmerizing group dance performances by the students of semester III, which filled the air with joy and fun. At the end Mr Ashok khajuria Managing Director of the college also wel come and blessed the new members of the Bhartiya family.The event ended with lunch and sweet dish.

To raise awareness and promoting the objective of "Swachhta hi Seva" 2024 campaign Bhartiya college of Education, Udhampur organized Symposium Competiton to observe" swabhav swachhata-Sanskar Swachhata" Campaign in the college premises . The celebration highlighted the crucial role of the ozone layer in protecting our planet. The event commenced with a compelling documentary presentation by Asst. Prof. Pooja Gupta , which provided a comprehensive overview of the national and international efforts made by the people for ozone layer protection.

A farewell party was organised at Bhartiya College of Education for B A B.Ed.Integrated 8th semester students in the college auditorium. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers, to reminisce joyous moments . Being a colorful affair, the farewell bash rocked the day for all the party attendees. The eye catching moments were the dance performances of the students. Principal Dr Anita Bali blessed and assured the students that they will always get support of college even after they have left. Managing Director of the college Sh Ashok khajuria who has always generously imparted his wisdom to the pupils and guided them towards the right path, He expressed his desire to see all the students at the great height of success. The highlight of the event was Miss Bhartiya and Mr Bhartiya contest in which the outgoing students walked the ramp gracefully and participated in games. Ms Ishika Mahajan was adjudged as Ms Bhartiya , Mr Sunil Sharma as the Mr.Bhartiya, and Ms Rupali and Mr.Sunil kumar as Ms and Mr. evening. The program was ended with cake cutting ceremony and we gave final good bye to the students with heavy heart.

This year’s World Environment Day campaign focuses on land restoration, desertification and drought resilience under the slogan “Our land. Our future. We are #GenerationRestoration.” In order to contribute in this campaign Bhartiya College of Education organised plantation drive in the college campus.

Bhartiya College IGNOU Learner Support Centre- 12119 Udhampur in collaboration with Regional Centre IGNOU organised an induction program for its fresher students. This initiative was aimed to equip students with valuable information about Indira Gandhi National Open University including its miscellaneous courses, offering admission procedures and the array of student support services available. The program commenced with formal welcome address presented by Asstt. Prof. Savita Sambyal, Co-ordinator, Bhartiya College Learner Support Centre Udhampur. Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Assistant Regional Director IGNOU, Jammu addressed the new enrolled students and offered insightful details about the University’s flexible educational approach. He further elaborated the about functioning of IGNOU Study Centre and also addressed the students regarding the significance of the collaboration between IGNOU and Bhartiya College Learner Support Centre. Dr. Asha Upadhyay, Assistant Regional Director IGNOU, Jammu also engaged the audience with the captivating virtual tour of IGNOU’s website. She also provided practical explanations on the admission process, assignments’ submission procedures and accessing of study materials. Besides them, Mr Rajesh Mohan, Assistant Registrar, IGNOU, Jammu, principal Dr. Anita Bali, BCE, academic councillors and students were also present during the program. The event was managed by Asstt. Prof. Jyoti Sharma, faculty of the college and concluded with the vote of thanks by Asstt. Prof. Pinaki Bakshi.

26-04-2024: Bhartiya College of Education Udhampur in collaboration with Council for Teacher Education Foundation (CTEF) organized One-Day workshop on ‘Psychological Testing’ in its college premises. The resource persons for the workshop were: - Dr. Jaspal Singh, Coordinator B.Ed Program Directorate of distance and online education, University of Jammu and Dr. Rakesh Sharma, principal Kalra College of Education, Kud. The event commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the chairperson of the college Mrs Madhu Khajuria, eminent resource persons, principal of the college Dr. Anita Bali and Mr Shiv Kumar, member of managing committee. The formal welcome address was presented by the principal of the college. The workshop was divided into two sessions i.e. Phase-I and Phase-II. The resource persons deliberated the students concerning the psychological testing and its basis for mental health treatment. They further explained the tests that are performed by a psychologist to evaluate the results to determine the cause, severity, and duration of symptoms. The resource persons had a healthy interaction among the students through demonstration and practical implementation. The students of the college also shared their experience regarding the workshop. Around 250 students from M.Ed,B.Ed and 4-year BA B.Ed integrated course participated in the workshop.The event concluded with the vote of thanks by Asst Prof Jyoti Bala. The proceedings of the event were managed by Asst Prof Pinaki Bakshi.
